Dies In Camp
October 9, 1918
Russell Hastings, 19, a son of Mr.
and Mrs. Frank W. Hastings, of 131
Overlook Avenue, died yesterday in
Fort Slocum of Spanish Influenza.
The young man left high school last
spring in order to enlist and had
worked hard in an effort to go "over there,"
Funeral services will be held on
Friday afternoon.
